The game could have had potential, had it simply allowed me to play.

Also, people might be saying 'you don't sound like you play enough of the game to actually learn if it's fun or not'
Yes, I know that. I play the game until I get bored of it. I think that if a game can't hold my attention for the first hour, it's not worth playing after really. Most of my favorite MMORPGs for the PC keep me interested for a long time and that started with the first few minutes of the game.
